How To Make An Appointment We see patients by appointment and will try our best to accommodate your schedule and to make the appointment with the provider you prefer. We advise you to call several months in advance to schedule your annual exam. If you need a mammogram, ultrasound or bone density scan, please request that at the time that you schedule your gynecological appointment. Established patients will receive a yearly reminder when it is time to make their appointment. When making an appointment, please tell the receptionist in which of the three offices you would like to be seen and the reason for your visit (problem or annual) so that we can allocate enough time for your visit . If you need to reschedule your appointment, please notify us as far in advance as possible. If you have an emergency, your regular provider may not be available and you may have to be seen by one of the other providers. Please take traffic and travel time into consideration when making your appointment. If you are late for your appointment your provider may not be able to see you. We will make every effort to have you seen, but in some cases your appointment will need to be rescheduled. |

How to Speak with a Provider or Nurse |

Because it is difficult to interrupt our doctors or nurses when they are seeing patients (emergencies excepted) our staff of nurses has been well trained to answer most of your questions. If this is an emergency - first call 911 then please call our office directly. You may also contact our office by phone. We have a voice mail system upon which you may leave your non-emergent questions and requests for medication refills. Your phone call will be returned on the same business day provided the message was left more than 30 minutes before closing time. If your question is beyond the scope of the nursing staff, it will be turned over to a physician or nurse who will contact you as soon as possible.Reaching us After Hours, Weekends and Holidays: The answering service can be reached at: 727-584-9500 Our answering service will contact the on-call physician, or registered nurse, depending on your condition. If you do not hear back from the physician or nurse within 20 minutes, please call again. All prescription refills and non-urgent questions must be handled during regular office hours. We will not phone in any pain medications or narcotics after hours. If you require this medication, please go to the emergency room to see the doctor on call. |

Billing and Insurance Are we on your insurance plan? We participate with many different insurance plans and will file for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to know the details of your health insurance plan with regard to referrals, co-payments and percentage of coverage. We require your co-payment at the time of your visit. In addition to cash and checks, we also accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Please call our billing/insurance department at 727-584-9500 if you have questions about your insurance. We have six full-time billing/insurance representatives to answer your insurance questions, determine which services your insurance covers and to assist you with planning payments.
